Rui huang is a digital artist specialized in lighting and texturing with broad experience in commercials, animations, games, and interactive content.

Rui worked at Buck Los Angeles as a 3D artist now. Prior to joining Buck, Rui Huang worked as a concept artist at Gameloft for a couple years. She completed a Bachelor of Arts at Sichuan Fine Arts Institute and obtained a master's degree in Animation and Digital Art at the University of Southern California.

Rui specializes in visual design and storytelling. Her work explores the inner world of people. Rui's animated work Dream Monster was screened at Mary Shelley's Frankenstein Re-animated event, which won the California Library Award in the wild card category. She created the environment design for the Imagine Dragons' animated video Birds in 2019, and it has over 190 million views online. In the same year, Rui's artwork "Mind" was shown at the J Paul Getty Museum projection event. In 2021, she designed and directed a short film, "THERE YOU ARE" which has been selected in over 50 international film festivals worldwide.
